BUILDING RENOVATION AND CHANGE OF USE
The intervention aimed to convert a former religious residence into a modern student accommodation facility.
The project included the design and construction of a diversified housing offer, featuring single, double, and superior rooms — totaling 150 units and over 230 beds.
The building, distributed over five levels, was equipped with dedicated common areas, including relaxation zones, a gym, laundry facilities, and a large dining area.
The internal layout was conceived to ensure optimal usability and to promote social interaction among residents.
Special attention was given to the design and implementation of building systems, as well as the careful selection of materials, which ensured high-quality finishes and enhanced architectural aesthetics.
The inner courtyard, characterized by a side walkway connection, was designed as a multifunctional outdoor space — encouraging community life and informal gathering.
This renovation represents a significant private development intervention, contributing valuable functional spaces to support student life in the urban context of Turin.
