RESTORATION WORKS

The restoration work on the external façades of the Church of the Visitation in Turin involved a careful process of conservation and recovery of the surfaces, respecting the historical and architectural characteristics of the building.

The work included cleaning the plaster, removing degraded sections, and consolidating the existing structures. Restoration of the decorations and finishes was also carried out, using materials compatible with the original ones to preserve the church’s authentic appearance.

During the restoration, a historical fresco was discovered above the main entrance door, previously hidden under layers of plaster. After a careful recovery and consolidation process, the artwork was restored and is now visible again, returning a decorative element of great historical and artistic value to the church’s façade.

The goal of the restoration was to restore the building’s aesthetic and structural integrity, ensuring its preservation over time.
